51 Bags of Heroin Seized Near Bolingbrook Denny's: Cops
Three people were arrested Nov. 27 following the incident, according to Bolingbrook police.
Police seized about 31 grams of heroin Nov. 27 near Denny's along Frontage Road, according to Bolingbrook police reports.
An officer witnessed three people acting in a suspicious manner at 126 E. North Frontage Rd. Police found 51 bags of heroin, or about 31 grams total, in their possession. A tan Mercury Sable was also seized.
All three offenders are from Wisconsin, according to police. They include:

- Scott Lapante, 27, from Woodruff, WI
- Samantha Young, 21, from Flambeau, WI
- Michelle James, 41, from Woodruff, WI
James was charged with manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance (felony) and possession of 15 to 100 grams of heroin (felony) and drug paraphernalia (misdemeanor).
Lapante was charged with possession of 15 to 100 grams of heroin (felony) and drug paraphernalia (misdemeanor).

Young was charged with manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance (felony) and possession/amount of a controlled substance (felony).
All three subjects were processed and transported to a Will County Adult Detention Facility.
