Alcohol Stolen from Food 4 Less, Car Windows Smashed: Bolingbrook Police Blotter

Thefts from cars, obstructing justice and more in the Bolingbrook police blotter of May 7 and 8.

May 8 

Car window broken, GPS unit stolen 

Officers were called to the 300 block of Quadrangle Dr. for the report of a burglary to motor vehicle, police said. A window was broken and GPS unit was taken between 10:30 a.m. and 1:10 a.m.

Obstructing justice, in-state warrant 

Ramone Williams, 26, 334 Deerfield Dr., was arrested at 2:24 p.m. and charged with obstructing justice and an in-state warrant and Tyler Johnson, 20, 212 Hudson Ct., was arrested and charged with an in-state warrant on the 500 block of Lily Cache Lane, police said.

May 7 

Alcohol stolen from Food 4 Less 

Officers responded to Food 4 Less, 271 S. Bolingbrook Dr., for the report of a retail theft, police said. Suspect entered the store took several bottles of liquor, placed them into a cart and exited the store with paying for the items at 11:37 a.m. 

Car window broken, purse stolen 

Officers were called to the 500 block of Janes Avenue for the report of a burglary to motor vehicle, police said. The vehicle window was broken and a purse was stolen between 7:55 a.m. and 9:30 a.m.
