BHS Students Earn Scholarships From Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.

Three students are the recipients of scholarships from the Alumnae chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority.

Students Christopher Fisher and Morgan White earned $500 scholarships, and Angelica Payton was awarded a $250 scholarship.

The awards were presented Saturday during the Sigma F.L.A.R.E. (Fueling Life and Responding to Education) Scholarship Luncheon at the .

Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority’s aim is to enhance the quality of life within the community. Public service, leadership development and education of youth are the hallmark of the organizations programs and activities. The Sigma F.L.A.R.E. Scholarship Fund has the vision to encourage and empower aspiring young adults who strive to enhance their educational development.
