
The Bolingbrook Rotary Club has announced its 2012 scholarship recipients.
Seniors Anjelica Johnson, Benjamin Wrorlten, Morgan White and Christopher Fisher were each awarded $500 scholarships to the colleges of their choice. Bolingbrook resident and Nequa Valley High School senior Bobbie Provoot was also awarded a $500 scholarship in May.
Robert F. Blumenstein scholarship applications are now being accepted through June 15. The application can be downloaded at www.bolingbrookrotary.org.

To be considered for the scholarship, applicants must: be a high school graduate and currently enrolled in college, have a cumulative G.P.A. of 3.0 or higher in college, live in the village of , and submit an official college transcript as well as completed applications.
Rotary raises funds for scholarships through various fund-raisers including the Raise-A-Stink raffle held annually at the Bolingbrook Jubilee. Raffle leases for this year’s event are now on sale, 6 raffle tickets, called leases, can be purchased online for $25. Individual leases can be purchased for $5 each from any Rotarian or at First American Bank located at 1290 W. Boughton Rd, Bolingbrook. Cash prizes are awarded to the top 3 winners: $1,000, $500 and $250.
