fifth grader Cierra Davis will compete for the title of Miss Pre-Teen Chicago on June 3.
The competition, to be held at the Olympic Theatre in Cicero, features four divisions for contestants ages 7 to 19. The winner in each division will represent the Chicago area in national competition in Orlando, Florida.
Cierra, who plans to join the as a sixth grader in the fall, plays the trombone and the piano. In addition, she loves to sing and dance, and lists running among her hobbies.

Local businesses and individuals are encouraged to help with the expenses incurred by such a competition by becoming one of her official sponsors. Sponsorships are available by contacting the pageant coordinator at 800-279-0976 and giving them Cierra’s acceptance number 11258.
