The robbery took place at Speedway, 352 S. Bolingbrook Dr. at 2:40 a.m.
A man or woman entered the business, displayed a handgun and demanded money from the register. This person then fled the store.

No charges have been reported in this incident, which remains under investigation.
Another armed robbery took place at a Marathon gas station in October. In that incident, the thief pointed a silver semi-automatic handgun at the clerk and stole $1,178 and several cartons of cigarettes.
