Bank Bag Stolen, Drug Equipment at Menards: Bolingbrook Police Blotter

Car thefts, driving under the influence and more in the Bolingbrook police blotter of Dec. 26, Dec. 30 and Jan. 2.

Jan. 2 

Business bank bag stolen from desk drawer  

A business bank bag was taken from a desk drawer on the 300 block of Remington Boulevard between Dec. 28 and Jan. 2, police said. The loss was valued at $115.

Trailer was stolen from parking lot 

A 2009 Utility trailer was stolen from a parking lot on the 1200 block of Remington Boulevard between Dec. 18 to Jan. 2, police said.

Motor vehicle theft 

Two 16-year-olds were arrested at 12:21 p.m. and charged with motor vehicle theft at Route 53 and Beaconridge Road following a traffic stop, police said. 

Retail theft, possession of drug equipment 

Lindsey Porter, 28, 701 Greencrest Rd., Princeton; Peggy Waranka, 36, 611 N. First Ave., Princeton and Gregory Hall, 33, 1019 N. Cherry St., Princeton, were all arrested at 3:39 p.m. and charged with retail theft and possession of drug equipment, police said.

Jason Byrd, 35, 611 N. First Ave., Princeton, was also arrested and charged with retail theft, possession of drug equipment and an in-state warrant after a call to Menards, 290 N. Bolingbrook Dr. 

Dec. 30 

Driving under the influence, resisting a peace officer 

Anthony Griffin, 26, 4 Collingwood Ct., was arrested at 4 a.m. and charged with DUI and resisting a peace officer following traffic stop on the 300 block of Remington Boulevard, police said. 

Trailer was stolen from parking lot 

A white 1987 Wabash National trailer was stolen from a parking lot on the 500 block of Territorial Drive between Dec. 28 and 30, police said. 

Dec. 26 

Driving under the influence 

Bridget Chidsey, 21, 24827 Ridge Rd., Elmwood Park, was arrested at 2:45 p.m. and charged with failure to reduce speed, DUI, illegal transpiration of alcohol, no insurance and battery on the 500 block of Remington Boulevard, police said.
