Illegal consumption of alcohol, obstructing justice, possession of marijuana, active warrant

A 17-year-old was arrested at 11:06 p.m. and charged with illegal consumption of alcohol and obstructing justice following a call to the 600 block of Preston Dr. for a loud noise complaint and subjects smoking marijuana, police said. Brian Boose-Young, 21, Bolingbrook, was also arrested and charged with possession of marijuana. Mayande Watson, 18, Chicago, was arrested and charged with an active warrant.

Graffiti was found spray-painted on the side of a building on the 100 block of N. Commonwealth Drive, police said.

Criminal trespass to property and criminal trespass

Two juveniles were arrested at 6:10 a.m. and charged with criminal trespass to property and criminal trespass to vehicle on the 100 block of S. Weber Road, police said.

Beer bottle thrown against window

Officers were called to the 600 block of Preston Drive for the report of criminal damage to property, police said. Homeowners were awoken by a loud crashing noise.Someone threw a beer bottle, breaking a residence window at 4:38 a.m. 

Purse stolen from car

A purse was stolen from a car parked on the 1400 block of Columbus Drive between June 15 and 16, police said.

Radio face plate stolen from unlocked car

A radio face plate was removed from an unlocked car on the 400 block of Yorkshire Square between June 13 and 16, police said.
