BHS Near State Average in Test Scores, Student-Teacher Ratio, Math and Reading Proficiency

The U.S. News & World Report rankings were released as part of the Best High School rankings, now in its fourth edition, according to the Huffington Post.

Although did not receive a ranking, the report evaluated it on academic indicators including college readiness, math and reading proficiency, and student/teacher ratio.

For student/teacher ratio, Bolingbrook scored 16:1. For college readiness, the report noted that Bolingbrook is near the Illinois average, with 13 percent of students taking AP tests and 10 percent passing AP tests.

The math and reading proficiency scores, 48 and 46 percent respectively, are also near the state average.
