BOLINGBROOK, IL — A Bolingbrook barber shop is expanding after the Bolingbrook Village Board approved a special use permit for Midwest Barber Academy.
Midwest Barber Academy is a barber shop and commercial barber school, which has been operating in Bolingbrook since 2017.
The shop is currently at 465 W. Boughton Road. The ordinance is for a special use permit at 689 W. Boughton Road.

"They are expanding, so they are moving," Mayor Mary Alexander-Basta. "Which is a great thing, that means [they're] successful."
