A new single hangar will be built at the airport.

BOLINGBROOK, IL — Several projects at Bolingbrook Clow International Airport were approved at Tuesday's Bolingbrook Village Board meeting.

The Board approved payment of local matching funds for the construction of a rotating beacon and parallel taxiway and approved a proposal for professional services for the locally constructed box aircraft hangar.

The Village is responsible for 10 percent of project costs, not to exceed $224,527.24

The proposal for the aircraft hangar will be done by Kimley Horn, which will do the design and bid services for the project, at a cost not to exceed $35,600, according to Board documents.

"The Village previously had put a twin hangar project out to bid, but the cost came in over budget," Alexander-Basta said. The scope of work was reduced to a single hangar design.
