Bolingbrook Board Approves Fourth Of July Fireworks Contract

BOLINGBROOK, IL — In preparation for its annual Fourth of July fireworks, the Bolingbrook Village Board has approved a fireworks display contract with RKM Fireworks, Inc., for this year's celebration.

At its Tuesday meeting, the Board approved the $60,000 contract. RKM Fireworks has supplied the Village with fireworks for the past two years, according to Board documents.

The annual Fourth of July celebration is held at Bolingbrook Golf Club.

"This is our 60th year anniversary, you do not want to miss this event," Mayor Mary Alexandra-Basta said.

"It will be the largest and best show in the state of Illinois," she added.
