Bolingbrook Community Closet Hosts First Event

The closet is entirely run on donations and the community is invited to explore this resource that is open until 7:30pm on Thurs., Dec. 18th

The Bolingbrook Community Closet (BCC) is currently hosting their first free closet event at the Bolingbrook Park District’s Annerino Community Center located at 201 Recreation Dr, Bolingbrook, IL 60440. This event runs through December 18, 2025 (from 10:00AM until 7:30PM) -- and is free to everyone and open to the public.

The Bolingbrook Community Closet is an open and free resource providing clothing to everyone in Bolingbrook and the surrounding area. BCC strives to include clothing for everyone in their offerings. Since the closet is run entirely on donations, availability may vary from day to day (or even hour to hour!), but their goal is to have clothing for every size and style. This is for every single person, every income level, religion, race, gender, size, and age. If you’re interested in upgrading your winter wardrobe, you should stop on by to check what’s in stock!

If you have everything you need, and maybe a bit extra that you don’t, please consider stopping on by to donate! They are accepting donations in-person from 11am-6pm, and you can always reach out to the organization on Facebook ( facebook.com/BolingbrookCC ) to schedule a pickup. If you are interested in bringing in donations, please focus on warm clothing for cold weather. Other donations can be scheduled through Facebook messaging at a later time.
