Applicable experience qualifying you for the position:

My background of approximately 20 years in the field of accounting includes time spent recently as a Chief Fiscal Officer in State government.  As CFO, I was charged with developing and implementing my agency’s annual budget.  With State agencies struggling to do more with less, I am no stranger to the process of identifying waste and inefficiencies in government operations.  I am also current treasurer of Romeoville Lions Club.

How long have you lived in your community and/or been active in local issues?

I have lived in Romeoville for 15 years and have become active in my community and the surrounding area since joining the Lions in 2011.

What's your favorite thing about DuPage Township?

The diversity of our population and the opportunities to be involved in impacting the lives of others within theTownship.

What are the biggest challenges facing DuPage Township, and how would you address them?

The biggest challenge I see is providing necessary services without increasing taxes. The average resident has little awareness of the township form of government, much less what services the township provides. My goal is to increase awareness as well as efficiencies. The Township needs to partner with and utilize the resources available within the community to assist in providing these services. For paid services, a competitive bidding process would obtain quality contracts at a competitive price. These processes will be visible to all residents through the Township website.
