I am running for this office because I like what the Dupage Township has done so far. I want to be part of this winning team. With the food pantry that has given out food to 15,000 people in one year.

The most important priority as being a collector would be the cemeteries in the towns, to keep them up to where they should be. To show respect to the settlers and to the veterans that are buried there.

What sets you apart from the other candidates?

What set me apart from the other candidates is that I am a caring person. Meaning I take pride in helping people and to see that they feel good about themselves.

How long have you lived in your community and/or been active in local issues?

I have been in Dupage Township for 46 years. I have seen the Dupage Township change from corn fields to abundance of homes now that take the place of the corn fields.

What's your favorite thing about DuPage Township?

My favorite thing about the Dupage Township is how they take pride in the residents and see how to help get the residents to where they should be as affording there house, water, etc.

What are the biggest challenges facing DuPage Township, and how would you address them?

The biggest challenges that face the township is that the tax levy has not been raised and the economy has not taken off to what was anticipated. The Township needs to more involved with businesses to bring more to the food pantry, etc.  The Township cannot do what is needed with the 1% tax that comes from the residents of the township.
