Bolingbrook Family Starts Fund to Pay for Student's Funeral
Donate to help the family of Kenyatta Parker, a 15-year-old Bolingbrook High School student who died Wednesday.

The family of a 15-year-old Bolingbrook High School student who died last week is asking for donations to help finance her funeral.
The family of Kenyatta Parker started an online fundraising page March 13, called the "Kenyatta Parker 'Precious Life' Fund." You can donate on the Kenyatta Parker page here.
"Donations to the Kenyatta Parker 'Precious Life' Fund, a student of Bolingbrook High School, will be used to finance the arrangements for Kenyatta’s funeral services," according to the description on the page.

"The Parker family hopes to provide a beautiful service in honor of her precious life. We thank you in advance for your donations which will be received in good faith and in love."
More than $4,000 has already been donated. The family's goal is $5,000.

Her family will receive friends for visitation from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 19, at Fellowship Baptist Church, at 730 N. Independence Blvd. in Romeoville.
Visitation is Wednesday, March 20, from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. at Lawndale Community Church, 3827 W. Odgen Ave., Chicago. Interment at Restvale Cemetery Alsip.
