Bolingbrook Football To Face Maine South In First Round Of Playoffs

BOLINGBROOK, IL — The Bolingbrook High School football team will face off against Park Ridge's Maine South in the first round of playoffs.

The game will be played at 7 p.m. on Oct. 28, at Maine South High School, according to the IHSA website. Bolingbrook went 6-3 in the regular season, and was seeded No. 20 for playoffs.

Maine South was seeded No. 13 with a 7-2 record.

The winner of this match-up will face the winner of Belleville East High School (No. 29 seed) and South Elgin (No. 4 seed).

The Class 8A state championship game will be held Nov. 26 in Champaign.
