Bolingbrook Girls Basketball Advances To First Round Of Sectionals

BOLINGBROOK, IL — The Bolingbrook High School girls basketball team has advanced to the first round of sectional competition.

On Friday, Bolingbrook defeated Yorkville, 58-34, to earn a regional championship. Also, earlier in regional competition, Bolingbrook defeated Metea Valley, 53-35.

Next up, Bolingbrook will face Waubonsie Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 25, according to IHSA. The winner of the first round of sectionals will head to the sectional championship on Feb. 27, against the winner of Benet Academy and Downers Grove North.

The Class 4A state final tournament will kick off on March 7 at CEFCU Arena at Illinois State University in Normal.
