Bolingbrook HS Sends 17 Athletes To IHSA Boys Track State Finals
The student athletes will compete in the IHSA Class 3A state finals.
BOLINGBROOK, IL — Seventeen student athletes from Bolingbrook High School competed at the IHSA Boys Class 3A track and field state championships on May 25-27 at Eastern Illinois University.
According to the district, junior Hussein Almousawi competed in the 800-meter run, and as a member of the 4 x 800 meter and 4x 400 meter relay teams. Almousawi was joined by 2023 graduate Sean O’Donnell and juniors Josh Stewart, Sean O’Donnell, Vince De Farno on the 4x800 team, the district said.
Almousawi and Stewart also teamed up with 2023 graduate Ife Inoma and junior Terence Jackson on the 4x400 team. Inoma also competed individually in the 400-meter run and a member of the 4 x 100 meter relay team with 2023 graduates Timothy McMiller and Kelrod Leeks and junior Rodney Terry, according to the release from the district.

Relay team alternates for the state championship meet are 2023 graduate Luke Sarofim, sophomores Mikhail Bolden, Kamsiyoc Ifeajekwu and C.J. Jones, and freshmen grade students Devin Cathey, Aiden Rybialek, Jason Vervack and Calleb Wallace.
