Bolingbrook Man Waved Gun At White Castle Employees: Police
Kelson L. Price yelled at White Castle employees while armed because it was taking "so long to get his food," police said.

BOLINGBROOK, IL — A Bolingbrook man was charged with aggravated unlawful use of weapon after he yelled at White Castle employees while armed with a gun because it was taking "so long to get his food," said Lt. Anthony Columbus of the Bolingbrook Police Department.
At 3:11 a.m. Friday, officers were dispatched to the White Castle at 120 S. Bolingbrook Drive, where they observed a subject — later identified as Kelson L. Price, 32, of Westchester Court — standing between cars in the drive-thru line who matched the description of the reported offender, Columbus said.
Price complied with commands given by officers, police said. He was taken into custody without incident and authorities said a loaded handgun was found in his waistband.

Columbus said Price was taken to the Will County Adult Detention Facility and charged with aggravated assault, aggravated unlawful use of weapon, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon and unlawful possession of ammunition.
On Friday, a judge found probable cause to continue Price’s detention and set his bond at $35,000, according to court records.

According to a criminal complaint, Price knowingly waved a handgun at a White Castle employee and placed that person "in reasonable apprehension of receiving a battery."
Records also show that Price was convicted of unlawful use of a weapon in a 2015 case in Will County, and he pleaded guilty to the offense in February 2016. He was sentenced to two years in prison and has already served 214 days in jail, court records state.
