Bolingbrook Native Named General Manager Of WNBA Team

Morgan Tuck joined the Connecticut Sun franchise in a front office role in May 2021.

BOLINGBROOK, IL — Bolingbrook native Morgan Tuck has been named general manager of the WNBA's Connecticut Sun organization, according to a news release from the team.

Tuck joined the Connecticut Sun franchise in a front office role in May 2021 as the director of franchise development, and then became assistant general manager in November 2022, according to the franchise.

“Morgan is a rising star in this industry,” Darius Taylor, the Sun’s new Chief Basketball Strategist and Director of Scouting said in a release from the franchise. “Watching her grow into the front office executive she has become has been nothing short of amazing. Her career has come full circle with the Connecticut Sun organization. I know she will be instrumental in propelling this organization to its fullest potential.”

Tuck also previously played five years in the WNBA, including four seasons with the Connecticut Sun. Tuck played four seasons of basketball at Bolingbrook High School, and then college basketball at University of Connecticut.
