Bolingbrook PD Investigating Shots Fired Through Bedroom Window
Destiny Watts, 18, fired shots through the bedroom window at the 300 block of Woodcreek Drive on Sunday, police said.
BOLINGBROOK, IL — The Bolingbrook Police Department is investigating a shooting that took place on Sunday.
Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Woodcreek Drive at 11:47 p.m. after they received reports of domestic battery and shots fired through a bedroom window. Sgt. Scott Lustik said that after meeting the victim, they learned that 18-year-old Destiny Watts had made threats to shoot the victim before leaving the area.
The police were able to locate Watts, as well as a gun. No one was injured by the shots, and the victim suffered minor injuries. Watts was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility and charged with unlawful possession of a handgun, domestic battery and aggravated unlawful use of weapon, Lustik said.
