Bolingbrook Playgrounds To Remain Closed During Phase 3

The Bolingbrook Park District announced Thursday that the playgrounds will remain closed in adherence of the Phase 3 protocols.

BOLINGBROOK, IL — The Bolingbrook Park District announced Thursday in a social media post that the playgrounds will remain closed in adherence of the Phase 3 protocols of the governor's Restore Illinois plan.

The post said that park officials carefully and thoroughly reviewed the Phase 3 protocols of the plan and while they want to allow kids to play on the beautiful playgrounds and "hear their laughter and shouts of joy," for the continued health and safety of the community, the district will abide by the protocols.

"Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work through this difficult time for our community," the Facebook post stated. "If these plans adjust to allow for playgrounds to open, we will happily and gratefully comply."
