Bolingbrook's Bar Louie Closed After Company Files Bankruptcy

BOLINGBROOK, IL — The Bolingbrook Bar Louie location has closed its doors after the company filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy late last month.

According to a news release from the company, Bar Louie voluntarily filed Chapter 11 protection, which will restructure its 31 corporate-owned locations. As part of its filing, Bar Louie closed underperforming locations, a release states.

At its Tuesday meeting, the Bolingbrook Village Board amended its liquor code to reflect the closing of Bar Louie.

The Bolingbrook location had been open in The Promenade Bolingbrook since 2007.
