Boy, 11, Struck By Vehicle On Lily Cache Lane: Bolingbrook Police
The driver was cited for failure to yield at a crosswalk.
BOLINGBROOK, IL — An 11-year-old boy was struck while walking in a crosswalk Wednesday afternoon in the 900 block of Lily Cache Lane, Bolingbrook police said. The crash happened near Jane Addams Middle School.
Police responded to the crash around 2:40 p.m. to find the boy conscious and alert with minor injuries. He was taken to an area hospital, police said.
Police said he had entered the crosswalk, walking northbound across Lily Cache when he was hit by a vehicle traveling west.
