Boys Basketball: Bolingbrook Tops Homewood-Flossmoor in a Thriller

The Bolingbrook High School boys basketball team led Homewood-Flossmoor through much of Friday night's game. 

But a 15-3 run by Homewood-Flossmoor in the fourth quarter brought the two teams to 48-48 with 5:10 left in the game, according to the Bolingbrook Reporter. 

A dunk by Bolingbrook's Kendall Guyton with four seconds left pulled out a 50-48 win.

Bolingbrook and H-F have a history of close games, with Bolingbrook losing to H-F in overtime multiple times in the past. 

"If you had told me at the beginning of the night we were going to win by two, I would have taken it," said Bolingbrook Head Coach Rob Brost.

Bolingbrook is now 11-3 overall and 3-1 SouthWest Suburban Blue.
