Brooks Middle School Honors Custodial Staff

BOLINGBROOK, IL — At Brooks Middle School, Mr. J.B. Fizer, Mr. Butch Krueger, and Mr. Don Magyarics exemplify Pillar characteristics. Even though their work is plainly obvious, it might be overlooked if one is not looking closely. These three members of the maintenance team work year round to ensure Brooks is safe, secure and in proper working order.

These three gentlemen get up before daybreak to plow snow and spread salt when the weather is not at its best. They replace countless light bulbs and ballasts, keep an eye on the heating and cooling systems, and do the lifting for innumerable set-ups and breakdowns for special events. This is just a fraction of what they do but the quality that makes them special is that they are always on call and meet each request with a smile and a “How can I help?” attitude.
