Buona Celebrates National Italian Beef Day With Free Sandwich Giveaway

The fast-casual restaurant chain is giving customers who use the MyBuona mobile app a free sandwich to commemorate the culinary holiday.

BOLINGBROOK, IL — Local residents who count the Italian beef sandwich as a culinary treasure will have reason to celebrate later this month when the Chicago-area favorite gets its own holiday before summer unofficially begins a few days later.

Buona, which has a location in Bolingbrook location at 303 S. Weber Rd., will be celebrating National Italian Beef Day by giving customers a free beef sandwich starting on May 27. The fast-casual establishment that opened in the Chicago area in 1981, will offer a free beef sandwich to customers who download the mobile app and take advantage of the promotion no matter how you take your beef sandwich.

Once the MyBuona app is downloaded, users will get a coupon for a free sandwich within 24 hours of downloading, the restaurant said. Customers who already have the app will be able to choose from any of the beef sandwich selections with up to two toppings for free between May 27-30.
