Camp Fire Illinois Prairie Brings Adventure Camp To Bolingbrook

BOLINGBROOK, IL — According to a social media post, Camp Fire Illinois Prairie opened Adventure Camp in Bolingbrook June 15.

In the first one week, the kids have gone fishing, hiking, had several art projects, strengthened relationships with peers and leaders, learned essential social/life skills through Camp Fire’s Program Framework, had relaxing time to read and unwind, played many cooperative games, spent time reflecting on the days’ activities, sang a few classic camp songs, started our weekly service project, and honored our county with the daily raising and lowering of our Country’s flag.
