Car Damaged with Brick: Bolingbrook Police Blotter

Hit and run, battery and more in the Bolingbrook police blotter of May 20-22.

May 22 

Battery 

Officers were called to a business on Territorial Court for the report of a battery at 3:41 p.m., police said. 

In-state warrant 

Darryl Loggins, 40, 430 Mallview Ln., was arrested at 10:40 p.m. and charged with an in-state warrant following a traffic stop at Route 53 and Edgehill Drive, police said. 

May 21 


Car damaged with a brick 

A car on the 600 block of Preston Drive was damaged on the side with a brick at 9:10 p.m., police said. 

Theft from Wal-Mart     


Gabriela Perez, 23, 137 Jamestown Ln., was arrested at 7:39 p.m. and charged with theft at Wal-Mart, 200 S. Bolingbrook Dr., police said. 

Battery 

Officers were called to the area of E. Boughton Road and Preston Drive for the report of a battery at 6:45 p.m., police said.

Domestic battery, assault, resisting a peace officer 

Kevin Chavez, 18, 334 Tiger St., was arrested at 11:39 p.m. and charged with domestic battery, assault and resisting a peace officer after a call to the residence for a domestic disturbance, police said.

Criminal damage to property 

Officers were called to the 1400 block of Lily Cache Lane for the report of criminal damage to property at 9:57 p.m., police said. 

May 20 

Hit and run

Erick Ugalde, 20, 157 Vernon Dr., was arrested at 5:18 p.m. and charged with hit and run and no insurance following a traffic stop on the 100 block of S. Pinecrest Road, police said. 

Burglary to motor vehicle 

Officers were called to the 1100 block of Hosler Drive for the report of a burglary to motor vehicle, police said. Someone entered a trailer and took an instrument Cluster between May 18 and 20. The loss was valued at $1,400.
