Car Window Broken, Possessions Stolen: Bolingbrook Police

Arrests and incidents reported to the Bolingbrook Police Department on Jan. 18 and 19.

Jan. 19 

Purse, glasses stolen from car 

The passenger window was broken to a car parked on the 500 block of Janes Avenue and a purse and pair of glasses were stolen from under the seat between 3:50 p.m. and 4:25 p.m., police said.

Possession of drug equipment 

Eric Janzem 23, 714 E. Hickory Ln., Streator, was arrested at 4:58 p.m. and charged with possession of controlled substance, possession of drug equipment, in-state warrant and failure to signal following a traffic stop at Bolingbrook Drive and Remington Boulevard, police said.

Tractor stolen from parking lot 

A 2000 Freightliner tractor was removed from a parking lot on the 700 block of W. Crossroads Parkway between Jan. 18 and 19, police said. 

Speeding, resisting a peace officer 

Valentin Garcia – Guzman, 21, 319 Herkimer Ave., Joliet, was arrested at 3 a.m. and charged with speeding, driving on a suspended license and resisting a peace officer following a traffic stop at Weber Road and Windfield Way, police said. 

Driving under the influence 

Jose Diaz, 53, 3435 83rd St., Woodridge, was arrested at 3:23 a.m. and charged with traffic sign violation, DUI and possession of drug equipment following a traffic stop at Pinecrest Road and Liberty Drive, police said.  

Jan. 18 

Driving under the influence 

Trupeshkumar Patel, 32, 610 Barclay Dr., was arrested at 6:24 p.m. and charged with failure to signal, illegal transportation of alcohol and DUI following traffic stop on the 600 block of Barclay Drive, police said. 

In-state warrant 

Randall Miller, 24, 218 Eagle Ct., was arrested at 4:50 p.m. and charged with an in-state warrant, following traffic stop at Grove Lane and Poplar Lane, police said.
