Crunch Fitness Coming To Bolingbrook

BOLINGBROOK, IL — Plans for a Crunch Fitness location in Bolingbrook moved forward after the Board approved a special use permit for the business at its Tuesday meeting.

The special use permit also includes extended hours for the fitness chain, which will be located at 352 Commons Drive. Crunch Fitness is a national chain that is open and staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week, according to Board documents.

"That's an address we haven't heard for a while. It's exciting," Mayor Mary Alexander-Basta said. "It's the Commons, on Route 53, right off of 55."

The property is located in the B-2 zoning district, according to Board documents. A special use permit was required so the business could operate in the zoning district and to permit the 24-hour operation.

Crunch Fitness has locations in Aurora, Schaumburg, Mount Prospect, Palatine and Round Lake Beach.
