It was a rainy weekend, but that didn't stop thousands of people from attending the 14th annual Cavalcade of Planes.
More than 10,000 people flocked to Clow International Airport in Bolingbrook for the event, which featured vintage and modern airplanes, a parachuter troupe, a 1929 airplane designed and constructed by Henry Ford and military flybys.
Organizers had expected more than 17,000 people to attend the event, according to the Bolingbrook Reporter. About 15,000 attended the 2011 Cavalcade of Planes.
