Easter Egg Hunts in Bolingbrook: Park District, DuPage Township, City of Hope

Check out two weekends of Easter egg hunts, from the Bolingbrook Park District, DuPage Township and City of Hope Covenant Church.

City of Hope Covenant Church 

Residents in Bolingbrook will have their eyes to the sky on March 23, anxiously awaiting the arrival of the Easter Bunny. The bunny will arrive via helicopter at Brooks Middle School, 350 Blair Lane in Bolingbrook. The arrival is part of the second annual City of Hope Covenant Church Easter Egg Hunt Eggstravaganza.

The event is free and designed for children who are in preschool through 6th grade. Registration will begin at 10:30 a.m. and an Easter egg hunt with 20,000 eggs will begin at noon. An area for children with special needs will also be provided.

Pool Egg Hunt at Pelican Harbor – NEW!

The Bolingbrook Park District will also hold an Easter egg hunt on March 23 for kids ages 2 to 7. 

Jump in the water and grab all the eggs! Prizes, candy and tickets for additional baskets await. Parents are asked to please plan on being in the water with your child. Bags and baskets may be brought to the pool, but will not be allowed in the water during the hunt. Hunt begins at 12 p.m. and 12:15 pm. Program fee includes admission to Pelican Harbor – stay and swim all day!

Fee: $7 w/Resident ID; $10 without Resident ID.

DuPage Township Easter Egg Hunt 

DuPage Township will hold an Easter egg hunt March 30 at the DuPage Township building, 241 Canterbury Ln. 

The hunt will start at 11 a.m. for pre-K/K. Grades 1-2, 3-4 and 5 through middle school will follow once the field is cleared of the previous age group. 

Enjoy prizes, candy, raffles and an appearance by the Easter Bunny. 

Bolingbrook Jaycees 

The Bolingbrook Jaycees will host an Easter Egg Hunt on March 23 at 11 a.m. The event will be on the baseball fields behind the Annerino Center. Children ages 2 and up are welcome.
