A flash flood watch is in effect for Bolingbrook through Wednesday evening, according to the National Weather Service.
Wednesday's storms could produce one to two inches of rain per hour on top of already saturated ground from recent storms. Rapid flooding of creeks, small streams, roads, viaducts and low lying areas are possible with these thunderstorms.
