Fountaindale Library To Close Amid COVID-19 Concerns
The library will close starting March 17
BOLINGBROOK, IL — Officials with the Fountaindale Public Library have announced that the library will be closed starting Tuesday, March 17. However, they encouraged all library patrons to make use of the library's digital archives if possible.
The library will still be open as an early voting location until 7 p.m. on Monday.

For the safety of our patrons and staff, we've made the tough decision to close our library starting Tuesday, March 17 until further notice. We will remain open during regular business hours until 9 p.m. on Monday, March 16.
- Will County residents can still vote early here until 7 p.m. on Monday, March 16.
- Studio 300 is closed from Friday, March 13 until we reopen.
- All programs, events, meeting room reservations and Outreach Services are canceled.
- All library materials (including Studio 300 and Outreach) will be due back on Monday, April 6.

As of March 13, there were 32 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Illinois, though none in Will County. Governor J.B. Pritzker declared a state of emergency over the virus earlier this week, urging all Illinoisans to, among other things, avoid unnecessary social interactions.
