Fountaindale Public Library to Host Black History Month Events

Fountaindale Public Library will partner with the Bolingbrook Black History Awareness Club to host Black History Month events throughout February. 

African American Genealogy Workshop

Feb. 9, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. 

Learn about slavery's roots and consequences, including two presentations. 

“Spellbinder” Walter King Jr.

Feb. 17, 2 p.m. 

A 45-minute program from a man who has performed with "Bill Cosby, Gladys Knight, Jennifer Hudson and The Temptations," according to the Bolingbrook Reporter.
