Four Residential Burglaries Reported in Bolingbrook in a Week

Personal documents, tools, a baby monitor, purses and more were reported stolen from Bolingbrook homes between May 16 and 23.

Four residential burglaries were reported in Bolingbrook between May 16 and 23, according to police. 

In those incidents, cash, tools, personal documents, a baby monitor, purses, laptop and purses were stolen from Bolingbrook homes or garage.

May 23 

Officers responded to the 600 block of Kingsbrooke Crossing at 2:53 a.m. for the report of a burglary, police said. Residents saw a man on the front porch. When the homeowner approached the suspect, he ran off. The victim’s purses were found in a nearby park garbage can.

May 22 

Officers responded to the 100 block of Seabury Road between 9:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. for the report of a residential burglary, police said. A window was found broken and a 17” laptop, personal documents and a baby monitor were stolen. The loss was valued at $1,100.

May 16-20 

Officers responded to the 100 block of Glen Lake Drive for the report of a theft, police said. Two lawn edgers, air compressor, power tools, two trimmers, grinder and power drill were stolen from the garage between May 16 and 20. The loss was valued at $1,100.

May 18 

Officers were called to the 300 block of Woodcreek Drive for the report of a residential burglary and criminal damage to property, police said. An apartment door was found open with the lock drilled out. Cash was stolen between 4:27 p.m. and 5:27 p.m.
