Funeral Fund Started For Bolingbrook Crash Victim
A GoFundMe has been launched for the funeral of Jaime Herrera, who was killed in crash in Bolingbrook this past week.
BOLINGBROOK, IL — The family of deceased Franklin Park resident Jaime Herrera has launched a GoFundMe account to help pay for Herrera's funeral arrangements. Herrera died on Tuesday, March 10, from injuries he sustained in a severe crash on I-55 in Bolingbrook. At the time of this article's publication, the fund had collected about $1,380 out of a total goal of $12,000.
Herrera was the second person in as many days to die from crash-related injuries in Bolingbrook this week. Only a day before, 17-year-old Bolingbrook resident Colin Montrose died after the car he was in was struck on Boughton Road.
Herrera's family extends their thanks to anyone who is able to contribute to his funeral funds.
