Bolingbrook Youth Baseball League To Expand Travel Program
Tryouts for the Rampage Travel Program will be Monday, July 30 through Saturday, Aug. 4.

The immense popularity of the Bolingbrook Youth Baseball League has prompted officials to expand the organization's Rampage travel baseball program.
The BYBL began in the early 1980s. In 2004, about 250 players were involved in the organization. In 2007, that number jumped to 400. Currently, nearly 600 kids are registered.
“This includes our very successful in-house program as well as our Rampage travel teams,” said Jeff Casmer, who sits on BYBL’s board of directors and is also a coach for the 10U travel baseball team. “Many parents have expressed an interest in expanding the program to give their child an opportunity to play travel baseball without having to look outside the community of Bolingbrook.”
