ICE To Pursue Charges At Federal Level After Bolingbrook Incident: Police
Bolingbrook Police said they have not made any arrests regarding the incident.
BOLINGBROOK, IL — Bolingbrook Police have not made any arrests pertaining to an incident on Sunday where federal agents reported two females attacked them while they were trying to arrest a man, police told Patch Tuesday.
ICE will be pursuing their own charges at the federal level, Bolingbrook Police Lieutenant Patrick Kinsella said.
The incident happened Sunday morning in Bolingbrook on Williamsburg Lane. Immigration agents told police they were trying to arrest a 46-year-old man in a parking lot when two females approached and began hitting the two agents in the head, according to Bolingbrook Police.

The females and the man fled on foot into a nearby home, according to police, who said the agents declined medical attention and no arrests were made at the time of the incident.
