Jane Addams Seventh Grade Basketball Team Plays In State Tournament

BOLINGBROOK, IL — The Jane Addams seventh grade girls basketball team will compete in the first round of the IESA Class 7-4A state tournament on Saturday.

The team is undefeated, 21-0, and will take on Mt. Zion at 10 a.m. Saturday at Brooks Middle School in Bolingbrook.

A victory in the first round would send the team to the semi-finals, which will be against either Normal's Kingsley or Chatham Glenwood, the District said.

The semifinals game would be played at 5 p.m. Saturday.

The third-place and championship games are scheduled for Dec. 8. Both would be played at Brooks Middle School.
