Judge in Drew Peterson Case Retires

Stephen White, the judge in the Drew Peterson case, is retiring.

According to Fox News reports, White said there are more than enough competent judges to hear the case, but Peterson's attorneys have already helped in getting two other judges removed from the case.

White's retirement could throw the case into uncertainty.

Peterson is charged with murdering Kathleen Savio, his ex-wife, and is a suspect in the disappearance of another ex-wife, Stacy Peterson.

Last week, a judge dismissed an illegal-gun charge brought against Peterson.
