Kindness Day 2025 Set For Saturday In Bolingbrook

BOLINGBROOK, IL — Several Bolingbrook businesses are organizations are set to support Kindness Day 2025, which will be held on Friday.

The Fountaindale Public Library will hold several events on Saturday. All events are drop-in and do not require registration.

First, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., you can pick up your Kindness Day bags for free (while supplies last). It features crafts and gifts from Bolingbrook partners.

You can also drop in at the library and write letters and cards to people in the community around the world to help spread kindness.

The library will hold a Kindness Day story time from 10 to 10:30 a.m. in its children's storytime room. And, you can come and make DIY friendship bracelets from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Children's Creativity Park, according to the library.

Also, Barnes & Noble Bolingbrook will host a kindness story time in English and Spanish from 3 to 4 p.m. at the store, 631 E. Boughton Road, Suite 100. The first 20 kids will get a free kindness gift.

Finally, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Taco Dale Bolingbrook, at 1196 W. Boughton Road D, will offer a free popsicle or scoop of ice cream if you show them your 2025 Kindness Day bag or coupon.
