After briefly stopping, Crawford fled northbound in the Jeep, and then headed eastbound on Boughton Road without officers in pursuit, police said.

According to officials, the Jeep passed through the intersection of Boughton and Delaway Drive, still traveling eastbound, but now in the westbound lanes. After passing through the intersection, the Jeep struck a vehicle head-on, police said.
