Man Steals iPad, Attempts to Sell Back to Victim

Possession of stolen property
William Hatley, 19, 8039 Geneva St., Woodridge, was charged with possession of stolen property after attempting to sell the victim back his stolen IPad 2 at 6:53 p.m. in the 700 block of East Boughton Road, said Bolingbrook Police.

Parking signs, message board vandalism
Several parking signs and a message board were damaged between July 29 and
July 30 in the 100 block of North Schmidt Road, according to Bolingbrook Police reports.

Catalytic converters stolen from vehicles

Unknown suspects cut off catalytic converters from two parked vehicles at 2:23
p.m. in a parking lot in the 100 block of East North Frontage Road, Bolingbrook Police said.

Pants stolen from vehicle
Someone stole a pair of pants containing a wallet and credit cards from a vehicle and ran off at 4:24 a.m. in the 500 block of South Bolingbrook Drive, according to Bolingbrook Police reports.

Theft of motor vehicle parts
A muffler was stolen from one vehicle and a catalytic converter from a second vehicle between 7 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. in the 100 block of East Old Chicago Drive, according to Bolingbrook Police reports.

Drug charges
Christine Panico, 53, 2328 Crab Tree Ave., Woodridge, was charged with improper lane usage, driving on suspended license, driving under the influence of drugs and possession of controlled substance at 6:22 p.m. following a traffic stop at Falconridge Way and Janes Avenue, said Bolingbrook Police.
