Michigan Principal to Take Over Reins at Bolingbrook High School
Michael D. White will assume his duties July 2, replacing Fabby Williams who announced several months ago he was leaving the position.

Michael D. White, currently the principal of Pioneer High School in Ann Arbor, Mich., will assume his duties July 2, replacing Fabby Williams .
Williams was and began work as BHS principal that July.

White has been principal at Pioneer since 2007. Prior to that he served for five years as principal of Pierce Middle School in South Redford, Mich., four years as assistant principal at Riverside Middle School in Dearborn Heights, Mich., and three years as assistant principal in his home town of Jackson, Mich.
His teaching experience includes five years in the Tacoma, Washington school district, three years in the Peninsula School District in Gig harbor, Wash., and five years in Jackson. Throughout his teaching career, he has also coached various sports and served as athletic director for three years in Jackson.

White is a member of the United States Army Reserves, having served one year on active duty at Ft. Benning, Ga., in 2010 as a drill sergeant training U.S. infantry soldiers for deployment overseas. He also served with the U.S. Army Rangers for four years before he launched his career in education.
A graduate of Michigan State University with a bachelor’s degree in classroom teaching, he obtained his Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from Eastern Michigan University. He is currently working on a Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership from EMU.
