Police Report $10,000 Stolen From Bolingbrook ATM

police are investigating the theft of more than $10,000 from an ATM at the village’s Chase Bank.

Reports state $10,020 was taken from the ATM between 3 and 6 p.m. April 16 at the bank located at 700 N. Janes Ave.

Bolingbrook Lt. Michael Rompa said the incident appears to be an inside job, but said it is "uncertain" whether an employee committed the crime.

“(There was) no forced entry and (the theft) was discovered upon conducting an audit,” he said.
