New Bolingbrook Fire Chief Sworn In

BOLINGBROOK, IL — The Village of Bolingbrook has welcomed a new chief for its fire department after the swearing-in of Chris Jostes as Chief.

The Village shared that Jostes was previously the deputy fire chief and "brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to serving our community."

Jostes takes on the role of Chief after the retirement of Chief Jeff LaJoie. The Village said LaJoie served the department for 28 years.

"Under his leadership, the Bolingbrook Fire Department has continued to grow, innovate, and uphold the highest standards of service and professionalism," the fire department shared on its Facebook page. "His impact will be felt for years to come."
