New Indoor Trampoline Facility Coming To Bolingbrook

The facility will be the first location in Illinois.

BOLINGBROOK, IL — A new indoor recreation facility will be coming to Bolingbrook after approval of a special use permit at the Bolingbrook Village Board's Sept. 9 meeting.

The indoor trampoline facility, called Big Air, will be located at 161 N. Weber Road.

Mayor Mary Alexander-Basta said the facility caters to toddlers, teens and adults.

"[It will offer] trampolines, slides, a zip line, foam pits, an indoor air sports court, climbing walls and party rooms," Alexander-Basta said.

According to Board documents, the facility would also have a café to serve food, including items like pizza, chicken tenders, fries, slushies and beverages. Hours would be 3 to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 2 to 9 p.m. on Friday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday.

The business would employ 12-15 full-time employees, and 25-50 part-time employees.

Big Air operates several locations throughout the country. The Bolingbrook location would be the first in Illinois.
